We encourage parents/carers to view our school prior to applying for a place for your child. For those who are seeking a Y3 2018 place, we encourage you to attend our Open Morning or Open Afternoon which have been scheduled for Thursday 16 November 2017. During these sessions potential parents/carers will have the opportunity to meet with the Head and Deputy Head Teacher, receive a mini presentation about the school and receive a tour by our Gomer Reps.
For those of you seeking a school place now, we offer tours of our school every third Thursday of the month. If you are unable to attend these mornings, please call us on Tel: 023 92524312 and speak to Mrs Austin to arrange a time for your visit. We are more than happy to answer any questions or queries you may have. We are currently full and rarely have children leaving in-year. However, please do contact us and we will endeavour to process your enquiry. Our classrooms are small so it is important we maintain class sizes of no more than 30 per class.

Timeline for applications to Year 3 for September 2018
Online application system opens – Wednesday 1 November 2017
Parents of children resident in Hampshire (not including Portsmouth or Southampton) wishing to apply for a place to start school or transfer to junior school (including schools outside Hampshire) can apply online. Paper forms are also available on request from any Hampshire schools or the County Admissions Team.
National deadline for Year 3 (junior school) applications – midnight, Monday 15 January 2018. The online application system will close at midnight on this date. Paper application forms should be returned to a Hampshire County Council school during school hours or the County Admissions Team. by this date.
Final date for changes to on-time applications – Thursday 15 February 2018. If you provide evidence to the County Admissions Team of a significant change in your circumstances since 15 January, (usually a change of address) you may make a change to an on-time application up until this date. No changes can be made after 15 February 2017.
National notification date – Monday 16 April 2018. Online applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application by e-mail. They will also be able to log into the online system to view their application outcome. Parents who submitted an on-time paper application will be sent a letter on Tuesday 19 April 2018 by first-class post. Letters will also be sent to online applicants, in addition to their e-mail, who were not offered a place at their first preference school.
Monday 30 April 2018 – Late applications received after 15 January and before 16 April will be considered.
From Tuesday 1 May 2018 – Late applications received on or after 16 April will be considered.
